Project: Expedition Antarctica
This collection captures the raw, untouched beauty of the Antarctic landscape and its resilient inhabitants. Through a series of observational shots, I documented the intimate behaviors of local wildlife—from the nurturing care of Gentoo penguins tending to their young to the quiet repose of Weddell seals against the vast ice. My goal was to leverage technical precision in challenging lighting and environmental conditions to highlight the delicate balance of life in one of the Earth's most remote ecosystems.
Project: Pet Portraits
This collection explores the quiet, domestic lives of my feline companions, documenting the unique personalities of Mochi (Ragdoll), and Dodo (Orange Tabby). Through these portraits, I aim to capture the charm of their daily routines—from the curious gaze of a kitten to the peaceful repose of an old friend. Each shot is a study in patience and timing, finding the beauty in the candid moments that make a house feel like a home.
Project: Culinary Heritage & Connection
This series is an intimate documentation of family and tradition, captured during my grandparents' visit in early 2026. Through candid, natural-light photography, I sought to document the rhythmic and nostalgic process of traditional Chinese cooking—a skill passed down through generations. These images focus on the tactile elements of the kitchen, from the preparation of fresh greens to the communal atmosphere of the home, celebrating the intersection of culinary heritage and the quiet joy of family togetherness.
